* I work out of Asheville NC which was devastated by hurricane Helene- I usually like doing photoshoots of real, rad people in my clothes, but won’t be able to prioritize that for a while as the community recovers from this natural disaster. If you take a photo in this piece that you are willing to let me include in my listing, please include that in a review or send it via dm to my instagram @turned_worm_studios !! the photos here are the generic mockup and don’t do the real thing justice.

Profits (anything above our cost to make) go towards supporting local mutual aid efforts raising money for survival expenses (healthcare, housing, bail, etc.) for trans folx, BIPOC folx and incarcerated individuals. This includes covering costs for items used in mutual aid raffles,  covering expenses to donate design time to mutual aid groups, and donating money directly to mutual aid fundraisers. About the Shirt;

Design is original digital art, screen printing is done by the Asheville based ‘Lightningbolt Ink’ queer owned+ living wage print shop. Each is heat set and made with all those good things that make for a long lasting colorfast professional screen print. Blanks used for printing are ‘Tultex 202 unisex fine jersey t’, however these may be substituted when not accessible due to supply chain issues or fat-phobic industry issues (ie. not stocking certain sizes), and as such color may vary slightly. With this blank, the sizes most affected are 4X and 5X.

I am running these in small batches online only or at sporadic pop-up markets. Because I do not want to put the people who I am raising funds for financially on the line, this is a slow-fashion adventure which prioritizes supporting fundraising goals over holding a large backstock and restocking may take a minute. As such, if you don’t see your size, don’t panic- place an order for the size you would like and it will be printed with our next run.
